VARIOUS IMAGES

I’ve put this page together for some of my other Astrophotos that I found interesting. There is quite a range of images in this section as i have a keen interest in photography and i have tried to keep to the Astronomy theme.

Wide Field - Close grouping of planets and stars, shown in wide view images.

Double Stars - Bright colours and close pair stars.

Aurora - The Northern Lights on display in Scotland. Some of the most colourful light shows ever.

Sunsets / Cloud Formations - Deep red and orange sunsets/sunrises over different landscapes.

Sundogs - These are bright sections that appear to the East and West of the Sun when hidden slightly behind light cloud.

Comets - The wandering rocks of the solar system.

Star trails - Long, fixed camera exposures bring out some interesting images of how out planet moves in relation to the stars.

Transit of Venus 2004 - A once in a lifetime opportunity to see Venus cross the face of the Sun.

Constellations - Some different Constellations on view to the Northern Hemisphere.

Satellites - Long exposure of satellites crossing the nights sky.

Visits to Observatories - These are some images from my visits to observatories around the world.

Other Images - In this section are some test i have carried out with my equipment, magnitude limits, star images.
