We haven't had such a nice weekend in a long time. The sun is still shining as I write this.

Planted my onion sets and got quite a few things done. Had a few Red Baron ones left so I planted them in a bucket.

Moved the Garten Perle that I started in January out to the greenhouse. It still may be a bit cold but I have fleece that I can place over them.

Planted another Rocket potato seed to make a total of 3 in the greenhouse. Also now have some tomato seedling sitting on buckets.

Another job was to make the path to the greenhouse safer. Bought two slabs from Wickes for £1.39 and placed some small stones along the edges.

Another weekend is here, at last!

The tomato plant (Garten Perle) is getting quite large and I may have to move it to the greenhouse soon once the flowers have opened.

In the images below you can see a few flower buds beginning to form.

Here's what the kitchen now looks like..................and yes I did buy more tomato seeds, this time a type called "Black Cherry" from T&M.

The Aubergines now have their first true set of leaves.

The Thyme is coming along well.

The strawberry plants have new growths happening, so I'm really pleased they have taken well.

Bought some cheap fleece at Tescos for £1.97 (2m x 2m) and covered the potato's and carrots that are in the greenhouse.

The carrots are looking good and the potato's even better!

I have only planted two onion sets just to make sure the ground was not too wet and they seem to have taken. I hope tomorrow I shall be able to plant the rest.

The fruit plants have also taken well.

I have moved the leek seedlings into the garage and they are growing well.

Seed potato's getting ready to be planted in April.

More work done on the plot.

Moved the compost bin so I have more room to grow stuff.

Managed quite a lot of work on the plot today and decided to wait a few more weeks till I plant my onion sets.

Neat and tidy.

In this section I shall be growing my Peas.

Enviromesh setup for the carrots. I sown the carrots yet, only just trying the size out.

The string next to the mesh is going to be my guide for the onion sets.

Inside the greenhouse I have some carrots growing and a Rocket potato.

The strawberry plants have begun to grow and new leaves have started to emerge.

Inside now, and the tomato plants are growing well.

Well the Aubergines have been transplanted to single pots so I now have four of them.

As you can see the Garten Perle tomato plant is still growing strong and getting quite large. In front of it is some new Basil which i just bought from www.alanromans.com one of the best sources of cheap seeds.

I have gone a bit overboard on the tomato growing and now have 23 plants growing on the windowsills.

Its fun though.

The seed potato's in the garage have sprouted really well and looking healthy.
